Developmental Program

We provide a planned curriculum which meets the social, emotional, physical and intellectual needs of each child, as well as a balance of activities allowing for individual attention, small groups, and large groups, to encourage and foster emotional intelligence. We believe in our developmental program and in order for all the children to benefit we have two requirements. All children need to arrive PRIOR to 9:30am AND we will not accept children who leave or come back from other programs.

The weekly schedule will provide opportunities to explore various concepts in math, literacy, social sciences, health and safety, sciences, art, creative drama, self-esteem, music and large muscle. All activities will strive to stimulate creativity and promote growth of the whole child.

Snacks
 A mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack of nutritional value will be provided by the Center on a daily basis. A snack menu is posted on the parent bulletin board. If your child is allergic to whatever we are serving and/or you prefer that they receive something else, OR if your child is on strict dietary restrictions, we will ask that you provide both snacks on a daily basis. For upstairs children, please provide it for them in a separate lunchbox/thermos labeled snack. A late afternoon snack will be provided to any child who remains at the Center without a parent present at 5:45 P.M.

Lunch
Parents are required to provide lunch for their child(ren)

Rest
For the overall health of the children, a rest time will be provided for all children. (This is also a licensing requirement.) The children are not required to sleep, but are encouraged to rest.
